Every single person in Pakistan is nowadays rhyming along with Atif Aslam’s Tajdar -e- Haram,,,,,,
Though there was a bit comparison between Amjad Sabri’s and Atif’s Version,,,,,,,But this melody is the magical of all.
On the other hand,,,In this particular season of coke studio, Mr Ali Zafar’s Rockstar is just one of the catchy tune, with no rythem no soul and no lyrics at all.
In my article I am not comparing the two’s performance in this season of Coke Studio but their over all image in Pakistan and Pakistan media Industry.
Starting from the days, when Ali Zafar was introduced in the Pakistani TV Dramas and was considered to be the most promising up coming actor with a great potential…..Unfortunately ,his career couldn’t go well in the Drama Industry but then he stepped in to the singing field and out of a sudden he started giving back to back hits.
After his long successful period of singing in Pakistan, Mr Ali Zafar having great acting skills then was offered a role in Indian Film Industry for a role in Mere Brother ki Dulhan. His first film proved to be a great success but soon after that he appeared in a movie name LONDON, PARIS, NEW YORK ,,,,,,,and that was the point where he made a wrong move.
His film London, Paris New York was almost as close to a prone movie, the trailers were truly indicative of the vulgarity shown in this film. We all believe what Veena Malik did was really bad which damaged the image of Pakistan in the world. But no body took a damn about what Ali Zafar did and does in Indian Films…..! Nobody literally nobody.
Atif Aslam started his career by giving a debut hit song, named Jal along with his band “JAL”. The band couldn’t continue the unity they had in the beginning and Atif Aslam parted his way alone.
No doubt his this turn out proved to be a better one again. He sung some extyremely exceptional songs even in India and made a name for himself in both countries. Considering his exceptional talent Atif Aslam was appointed as a judge +mentor for a singing competition between India and Pakistan. His brave moves to defend the country’s pride , outstanding mentoring to the upcoming talent of Pakistan and the ability to maintain his limits set him apart from the rest of the media industry.
