The legendary Muhammad Ali passed away at the age of 74 after long fighting against Parkinson’s Disease. This fatal disease had grasped Ali in ill health for 32 long years. His funeral ceremony will be held in his home town,Louisville, Kentucky.

The greatest heavy weight boxer of all time who won his 1st championship at the age of  22 in 1964 followed by lifting the title again in 1974 and 1978 consecutively.

After being admitted for a day in hospital for respiratory issues, Ali couldn’t survive this battle.
This enthusiastic champion wasn’t reported 1st time for acute illness. Many of the times he was reported to be at his death bed and on one tragic day, a fake rumor of his death spread all over resulting in chaos among his fans.

Talking about his personal life, Muhammad Ali had married 4 times and had 9 children. Out of his 9 children, a daughter named Laila Ali turned out to be a professional boxer.Muhamamd Ali (2)
During his long period of illness, Ali kept himself involved in the politics & in the society around him. Defending the stay and entry  of Muslim in United States of America, and in his remarks against Donald Trumph Ali stated:

“We as Muslims have to stand up to those who use Islam to advance their own personal agenda”

On Jan. 17, 1942 in Louisville, Kentucky (Home Town), Cassius Clay was born in a middle class family and  started boxing when he was 12 years old. He won the Golden Gloves titles before going and participating in the Olympics to be held in 1960  in Rome, where he won a gold medal as a light heavyweight.
